The Standard at Berkeley

The Standard at Berkeley is a student housing community located directly across the street from the UC Berkeley campus in Berkeley, California. The Standard at Berkeley is an eight-story building with ground floor retail space, 47 underground parking stalls, and luxury apartment units with a total of 417 beds. Residents have the option to choose from studio, one-bedroom, two-bedroom, three-bedroom, four-bedroom and five-bedroom units which come fully furnished with designer furniture and high-tech appliances. Amenities include an elevated courtyard with grilling stations and outdoor TV’s, rooftop deck, state-of-the-art fitness center, academic lounge and private study rooms, computer lab, and a resident club room and gaming area. Preserving the exterior and renovating the interior of the adjoining Fred Turner building, a Julia Morgan-design city landmark originally constructed in 1940 was also part of the project scope. This project was designed to achieve LEED Silver certification.
