PBAU Warren Library

Hired as the construction manager, The Weitz Company built this four-story structure in two phases around a major downtown thoroughfare while maintaining full campus operations.

Phase one of this project included expanding the library that houses 350,000 volumes of books; 120 computer stations; 28 study rooms; administrative spaces; a boardroom; cafe; and seating to accommodate 650 patrons. Once completed, the new library building was occupied and the existing phase two building library was vacated for renovations.

Phase two of this project included selective demolition of all interior finishes within the rotunda and the complete removal of the adjoining brick building to the west.
