Jim Wells

As the leader of our business development efforts, Jim is responsible for ensuring clients receive the best possible value on their construction projects. His primary focus is to guarantee clients’ expectations are met without compromise. Being an officer of the company, Jim is able to make a commitment on behalf of The Weitz Company and allocate resources to follow through on them.

In additional to business development, Jim has also served in various project management and operational roles with Weitz since joining the company in 2006. His educational background includes an aerospace engineering degree from the University of Florida.

In my role, I have the opportunity to meet and work with individuals that are responsible for some very impressive facilities and operations. When our company helps these individuals execute a project, it is very gratifying to say “we were an integral part of that.”

I am a rocket scientist (aerospace engineer) by education but a project guy at heart.
