Construction Starts on Sky Crossing Recreation Center in Phoenix

The Weitz Company is proud to announce the start of construction on Sky Crossing, a 14,000-square-foot recreation center located in the Sky Crossing Community in North Phoenix, Ariz.

The new building will sit on six acres and provide community residents with a multi-purpose room; great room with a beverage area and pantry; fitness and aerobics rooms; conference room; restrooms; administrative offices; and a variety of covered exterior spaces. Outdoor amenities include lap and play pools; water play area; event lawns; outdoor pavilion and restrooms; playground; and sports courts. In addition, construction will include a gated amenity that has an additional pool, pavilion, restrooms and parking.

The Weitz Company will serve as the general contractor of the facility designed by Phoenix architectural firm SHJ Studio.

Cave Butte Development Partners, a joint venture formed by Taylor Morrison/Arizona and Pulte Group, are developing the new Sky Crossing master planned community district.
